NCLBGC Mandatory Con-Ed Class for 2025: What Licensed General Contractors Need to Know

About the Course

Qualifiers for NC Licensed General Contractors are required to complete this 2 hour course as part of their 8 hours of continuing education for 2020.  In this course participants will learn about the NC LBGC con-ed requirements, rules and regulations governing general contractors, license limitations/classifications, Licensee vs. Qualifier, disciplinary actions the NC LBGC can take for violations.  Participants will review two case studies where these rules and regulations were enforced by the North Carolina Licensing Board.  Participants are required to attend the full two hour session to complete this mandatory course.

Requirements

  • Participants are required to have a computer equipped with a camera and microphone.
  • Participation by cell phone is not permitted.
  • Participation while driving is prohibited, if you are thought to be driving you will be removed and will not receive credit for the class.
  • Participants will be required to show a photo ID to be admitted into the virtual classroom.
  • Please be sure to log on at least 30 minutes before class starts so that participant & Qualifier id’s can be confirmed.
  • Admittance to a class after it has started is not permitted.
  • If you inform us prior to the class beginning that you will not be able to attend or you are having technical issues, then you will be transferred to another class of your choosing.
  • If you are a “No Show” for the class, your registration fee will be forfeited.

 ***This course will be taught by a NCLBGC certified instructor and upon successful completion participants will receive 2 hours of continuing education credit.***
